Listening Out Loud



Speak to my heart Lord,
and let it be still enough to hear you well.
Show me how to really listen
to those whose pain will heal
through quiet understanding.
Teach me to reach out my hand to all I meet;
without predjudice, without judgement,
As you did when you walked among us.
Touch me deeply with your tenderness,
fill my soul with sunshine, Lord,
so I long to share the joy of your love with others,
wrapping warmth in a generous smile.
I look for answers when I grow weary with life,
but may I instead, be reminded to trust,
simply, in your Divine presence.

This is a poem I wrote

a while ago when I first

opened up to my

Spiritual connection.

Now, I would like

to dedicate it to all

of my fellow Lightworkers

out there - some I know,

and those I am yet to have

the pleasure of meeting!!

"S.o.u.l mates'

Echoes in my heart, I hear

Spirit calls across the years;

urging me to seek what glows;

a message learnt from long ago.

Now, as I submit my ears,

sounds resonate, becoming clear;

A lifetime searching for this truth

heals restless wounds

no-one could soothe.

Such beauty now, through eyes I see,

swept clear of harshness,they are free;

no more a victim of deceit,

fulfilled to serve another's need.

Words of wisdom link my soul

with others who make peace

their goal;

and as we now take up our place,

all creation is embraced.

We turn our faces to the Light,

surrendering useless human fight.

Now all bring gifts, born of above

to S.trengthen O.ur U.niversal L.ove
